Our Mission
At our office, we ensure that patients receive the most advanced orthodontic care. Our office regularly attends seminars and conferences devoted to new treatments, new technologies and excellent patient care practices. With patient care as our top priority, this is our commitment to you.
Consultation Appointment
At your consultation appointment, we will take diagnostic X-rays to help determine the treatment you need. After the X-rays are taken, Dr. Goodnight will discuss your treatment options with you, including the length of treatment, the cost of treatment and the different payment options that are available to you. You will then have the option to set up your appointments and start your orthodontic treatment.
Regular Appointments
We understand the need to schedule appointments around work and school. We can usually schedule regular appointments accordingly.
The initial appointment, when you get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.), is a longer visit. The amount of time required varies depending on the appliances you are receiving. Therefore this appointment will have to be scheduled earlier in the day. After we place your appliances, you will then see us at regular intervals, usually 6 to 8 weeks apart, for adjustments. These adjustment appointments usually take 20 to 40 minutes and can be done at any time of the day.
Missed and Late Appointments
Missed appointments can lengthen treatment time and may be difficult to reschedule. Our daily schedule is structured to provide a specific amount of time for each procedure, and your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. As a courtesy to other scheduled patients, we ask our patients to please call ahead if they are running late or need to change an appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and we appreciate your cooperation.
